Swingin' It

At some point in any journey it becomes necessary to stop, step away from the road and seek a new perspective.

The Hanged Man seeks to "suspend" what he is doing so as to find a new point of view. He binds his own ankle and flings the rope up over a branch on the tree of wisdom because the world looks new to him when he's upside down.

Stop, chill, hang out for a bit. "Suspend" what you're doing until it becomes clear. What's the rush?

This playful, big band swing (pun intended) was a blast to create. Writing and singing the jazz backup harmonies was a new stylistic adventure for me. I hope you have as much fun listening to it as I did producing it!
